I looked all over until I found this store! I live in a nice community with a gated entry, and we have a Home owners association that only takes care of the outside.
I have to do all the inside remodeling on my own. When I wanted to redo my bathrooms I looked everywhere for a contractor first, then a showroom, then a sub contractor, then a designer... inspectors- permits... ugghh!
It was all so expensive and no one wanted to - or legally could- take on the whole thing. Most of the bids I got were from people who, after I checked, were unable to even take the work due to the lack of certain licenses and/or insurances and bonds, and permits... for which they were unable to attain from the city, or just didn't want to get for the HOA where I live. It is complicated to gut and redo a bathroom up to code. The city inspector had to come sign off on several items throughout the job. And the demo is actually considered hazardous waste and must be treated like it. It was pretty yucky...
I went to Valley Tile on Ventura bl, a one stop shop. I worked with a designer in the showroom. And the owner/contractor and his guys installed everything beautifully!
All the permits and inspections from the city were no problem. Valley Tile made it all so easy, and somehow they were about half of the cost of the independent tile guys, designers, stores combined... I am very happy with my bathroom.
