I live in Rio Rancho, NM and have one of the homes that have the plumbing from the 80's that did not withstand the test of time. Not only that, but it has lasted longer than it was "supposed" to according to the class action law suit filed several years ago. Because of that, my home did not qualify for assistance to replumb either before the plumbing failed or after. My plumbing failed November '08.
So to make a long story short, and 2 plumbing companies later, I found Richard Valdez on a recommendation of a friend. I called and Richard and his job foreman were there the next morning to tell me what I already knew, I was going to have to re-plumb the whole house. Yikes!!! Mr. Valdez explained to me that they no longer dig up the floor, instead they go into the house up walls and into the ceiling and run pipe from there. He also explained the type of piping used and what procedures would be followed, and took care of the permitting. (I knew that was correct, as I had checked with the City Inspectors)
Valdez Brothers Plumbing Heating and Cooling did indeed come to the rescue! Not only was their price reasonable, but the next day, they swarmed on my house like bees on a mission. They completed the re-pipe in only 8 hours!!! The work was inspected by the City and approved.
I am very happy with the work and the service provided by Valdez Brothers Plumbing, and would recommend them.
