Disrespectful, unprofessional, unprepared

I chose Unique adoptions without doing much research. I was in crisis made and desperate to have support. From the very beginning there were red flags and I just avoided them as I’ve never been through this process nor have I attempted this process of adoption. She would send me profiles over email which I felt wasn’t as personal as being able to half actual profiles. So I could re read and compare. I chose a family for conference call, she tells me “oh they want a baby girl”. So I had to choose another well they were paired with a birth mother already. So last but not least I chose another family. The day of my conference call she texts me a screenshot of a registry accusing me I’ve never had intentions on placing this unborn baby. Mind you, I have a friend desperately trying to convince me to keep this baby. She made the registry behind my back for whatever reason I have no idea. I completely understand how that would raise eyebrows, but the way she was out right disrespectful was sooo painful. Holding my phone crying trying to grasp what’s going on and why this woman is attacking me I did not understand one bit. I felt like she should have asked me and I could have helped her figure out why my friend did this. This process isn’t easy for anyone on either end. She said some very hurtful things and promised she would ruin my integrity, claimed I was a scam that she saw me on a board in North Carolina! She would not show me this! I’ve never in my life contacted an adoption agency. She was so rude and unprofessional from the beginning. Horrible horrible experience.
