Run as Fast As You Can from US Family Advocates, Complete Joke !!!!!!!!

Buyer Beware, Save Your Money !!!! This organization does not have a clue about what they are doing. They prey upon your highly vulnerable feeling and emotions in the most delicate of situations. My experience with US Family Advocates has been a complete
disaster and waste of time. I live in Texas and started the process with the group. As I was excited about the thought of getting help from Mr. Moonly and company, I paid the full fee for services in advance, over $800, big mistake! I provided what paperwork
I had and they said that I need a copy of the original divorce decree from California which they said they could get. I even volunteered to go to California to get the documents myself, but they said it could be mailed. When the documents were not mailed after
over six months, they quoted the courts and the process for the delay. I was very patient during this time. He then said that he had a lawyer that he knew personally in San Diego that could go and pick up the documents. I don’t know if the lawyer went to the
court or not, but Mr. Moonly said the lawyer went to the courts but the documents could not be found and they had to search the archives that were off-site. This process took another couple of months. Feed up with the entire process and the service I was getting,
I took it upon myself to fly to San Diego to get the needed documents. I did so and it only took me 15 minutes once at the court to receive the necessary paperwork as the documents were on-site. What a waste of my time!!!!!!!! I spent money on airfare and
accommodations for that. As I told Mr. Moonly about getting the paperwork he only made more excuses and more empty promises. I wanted my money back at that point in which he said NO as he had spend so much money on an attorney to get documents that were never
produced, which was not my fault. At any rate, I would not waste my time with this company as they have no clue with regard to what they are doing. Half the time they don’t even answer the phone. Again, buyer BEWARE, this company is pathetic.

This is a misleading complaint. First, the fact that Mr. White said he waited patiently for months for
paperwork is false due to the fact that we constantly stated we needed his decree to continue with his
paperwork. He himself could not get said documents. We did in fact try ourselves and get his files from the courthouse but were unsuccessful. It was also our idea for him to go himself and retrieve the documents as even our lawyer couldn't get the documents. Also, as Mr. White states, he flew to California to get his paperwork; we called the courthouse and there is no record of anyone pulling any files from the database. We can only proceed with paperwork if the relevant information is provided. Lastly, we did send you documents that were never reviewed and sent back for correction.
We are not a free legal service. We spent a tremendous amount of time on this case as we even sent a lawyer to
the courthouse, hours away from where we are located, for the sake of the client. That is unheard of unless you
retain an actual attorney for thousands of dollars.
We always return all of our phone calls if a message is left and we always check back with clients if we have not
heard from them in a while. The client's needs are at the forefront of how we handle our business.
We retain records and notes on all clients for these purposes.
