Called about a month ahead of time to have my Jeep picked up from Las Vegas, NV to Clovis, NM. I was informed by JON that the date I selected March 5 (Friday) was not a problem.
Well, Friday March 5 came around and I had not heard anything from transport services so I decided to call them and see if I could get a time frame of when the Jeep would be picked up. The dispatch department told me that it would either be late Friday evening or early Saturday morning and that I should receive a call from the truck driver confirming a time.
I am in the military and have to report for duty no later than Monday morning. The next morning (Saturday) I did not receive a call from anyone, not transport services or a truck driver. I called transport services, no one answered, I called and left 5 messages on their voice-mail. I never received a call back. I called again and was able to get a hold of some one in sales (because dispatch and customer service would not pick up the phone or return my calls.) He said that there was a "mechanical problem with the truck that was sent out to pick up my car." Seems to be Transport Services catch all phrase. I did not believe this at all because NO ONE CONTACTED me. So they are telling me that Transport Services had knowledge that they truck was not going to make my pick up but failed to contact me? What about the truck driver, he was supposed to call me with a time for pick up, so he broke down and decided not to contact me? I don't think so. They are a bunch of liars.
I am in the military and can not wait any longer so my pregnant wife drove her car and I drove my jeep to New Mexico instead of having it shipped. On Thursday March 11 I received a call from a independent truck driver informing me that he was in Las Vegas, NV to pick up my jeep. I spoke with the trucker and explained to him what had happened and he was upset as well. Transport Services never contacted me after they told me the vehicle was going to be picked up on March 5 or 6.
This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
I also received an email stating that Transport Services is not a Broker and when I called a spoke with "Jon" in sales told me that they are not brokerage company. This is a lie. The trucker that contacted me 6 days after my scheduled pick up date was an independent driver. Transport Services did not explain to the truck driver that my Jeep was supposed to be picked up 6 days prior. Needless to say we he was pretty upset about the whole situation as well and said he would not work for Transport Services again.
