Transport Services represented to me that a pickup would occur on Sunday, 01/31/10. At no time during the conversation did Jordan represent that the deposit was non-refundable, nor that the pickup might not occur. He said that the driver would call 24 hours in advance. So I asked that the party at the pickup location be there, which he graciously assented to. We received no phone call and no pickup. Speaking to the manager today, who had no apology, she said that they have up to 10 days to pick up and that we were now scheduled for tomorrow. The driver, if there is a person really scheduled, did not have the courtesy to call the pickup party, who waited all day and cancelled their schedule for a non-existent pickup. This is not a good business practice.
