Review 1/22/2010
|
I placed my vehicle information on-line to look for an affordable price to ship my vehicle from Baltimore, MD to Vancouver, WA. I received plenty of calls from companies trying to accept my business. I decided to choose Transport Services (Boca Raton, FL) because Herman one of their salespersons was very persistent and would call me every day to ensure that my vehicle was shipped. All the other companies including Transport Services were offering $950.00 to ship my vehicle. So on January 14, 2010 I paid the first $100.00 to lock in my spot, with the hopes of my vehicle leaving Baltimore, MD on January 19, 2010. I’m not upset at the fact that they couldn’t pick up my vehicle, I’m angry because they did not respond or update me on when my vehicle will be picked up. Today is January 22, 2010 and my vehicle is still in my garage, waiting! I have called Transport Services the last three days to see when they might be coming to pick up my vehicle, but when I do they put me on hold for about 30 minutes. And I remember one time in particular I was on hold for 31minutes and 34seconds (I have Vonage) so I save some money on the phone bills. But still I wait, I wait for the day that my vehicle will be picked up and be delivered. And maybe if I’m lucky it might just be delivered within 10 business days and without damage, but that’s only if I’m lucky. I understand things happened and I’ve been in lots of difficult situation where not being well informed can mean the difference between life and death. Information is a very vital part in any business whether in the corporate office or in the hot sun of Iraq. I have completed my part of the contract; I think it’s time for Transport Services to complete their part.
