Review 10/29/2009
|
I contracted with Tranport Services to ship my car from PHila to LA. I was promised that if they used an outside carrier, it would be one that the owner had a "personal relationship" with. They supplied a carrier, who did $1,878 worth of damage while delivering the car. The carrier does not have insurance for any claims under $2,000. Transport Services is liable as they did not supply me with an insured carrier, per our contract. They ignore e-mails and place me on hold for 20 minutes at a time. I posted a review on line at transportreviews.com and they promised if I would take the review off they would "take care" of the problem in 2 weeks. Nothing happened in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks and threats, they gave me $200. They said the "check was in the mail" for 10 days. Finally, they gave me a credit on my credit card. The missing check never showed up. Then when I reposted my review, they tried to deny that I was a customer. They do not deny that my car was damaged and that the carrier has no insurance. I would give them zero starts if that was an option.
