We were in a bad spot and needed help. We scraped together $3,000 for supposed help on our underwater mortgage. Once we paid they almost never contacted us. We had to seek them out. The last thing we heard was that they couldn't do anything for us. The only thing they did was put together some legal preparation so we could take Chase to court. Yeah, like that is going to happen...
Do yourself a favor, keep your $3,000, walk away from your mortgage and simply start renting somewhere else and try saving for your retirement all over again.
