Russell B Jennings AC replaced 2 Trane units in my home 6 years ago. They have been here to do different repairs on 3 occasions after that. Only till recently did I discover that the installation they did was done incorrectly. The discharge side of the duct work (directly above the air handler)was never installed properly.
Do not count on this company backing up their installations. I paid them over $700 to correct a situation that they created. Their own technician informed me (and I could see for myself) that they never taped or properly glued the duct work above the air handler.I have photo documentation and the replaced duct work to prove my point. I have been cooling my uninsulated garage for quite some time. Not to mention that unfiltered air was circulating through my entire home.
I have made several calls to the owner (Chris Ryan) and sent a certified letter to date. His only response was verbally "He will do nothing about it". (he wouldn't even give me his insurance company information). I paid for the work done to show good faith and expected a rebate after he got my photos and talked to his technician. I will pursue this in court and I am quite confident they will be paying for the charges to me, the loss of electricity, the damage to my duct work and my attorney fees.
