If I could give them zero stars I would. I brought in my wedding sash to Redlands Cleaners to have a spot removed and told the owner Bina that it was from my wedding implying its importance and also told her that the material was silk organza. I went to pick it up on 10/15/2011 confident that they had done a good job because my family and I have had our clothing cleaned by them for years without any problems. I inspected my sash and found that while the spot I had originally needed removed was gone, there were new spots (red spots on white silk) of a completely different nature on my sash and the silk had been damaged in several locations. The silk had clearly been seared when they pressed it. Never should silk of such a fine nature be pressed and furthermore it was not something I had requested them to do in the first place. Unfortunately, Bina was not there when I noticed the damages so I returned on 10/17 to speak directly with her. The moment I mentioned that the sash had been damaged, she immediately went into defensive mode by yelling and accusing me of lying and trying to get money out of her. I calmly told her that I would just like a resolution as I had hoped to pass on my sash, which not only was of great monetary value, but was moreover highly sentimental to me. She squinted her eyes at me and rudely yelled that she did not care and in so many words would not work on finding a resolution.
I have never dealt with anyone so nasty and so completely unprofessional in all my life. She has no respect for customer loyalty nor does she respect the value that people place on their sentimental property. I am so distraught over the whole thing and am saddened that my wedding sash is ruined. Taking responsibility for her errors was the least she could have done, but she didn't even do that.
There are a lot of cleaners in Redlands...I advise you to think twice before bringing your business to Redlands Cleaners.
