I was referred to this day care by a relative. Upon arriving to fill out the paperwork, I noticed that the carpet was extremely dirty but since I was informed that they would be moving to a much a larger location within a week and knowing my child would be there longer than a week, I let that one go. The staff was friendly, but this is NOT a center, its an apartment. The kids are confined to the living room and the kitchen and there is a small patio with a few toys. They are fed 3 meals a day and snacks which is good.
My daughter was 10 months and she seemed to be comfortable there. She never acted as though she was afraid to go but as a parent, there were other concerns. Their accounting practices were VERY unprofessional. They claimed my daughter was there 2 more days than she was and attempted to charge me for them! There is no sign in sheet to keep track of whose coming and going and you never know who is watching your child day to day as the owner is in and out and so is her boyfriend.
There was also the time that I dropped her off and picked her up and she had on the same diaper! My relative also just had this issue this passed weekend. She also has an issue with reimbursing parents and collecting funds and claiming she didn't. I will not be taking my kid here again, unfortunately.
