I will like to comment on the excellent and prompt service that I received from HMSS.
My house was about to be foreclosed.I received a postcard in the mail that said if your bank or lender is no longer accepting your payments call the number that was on the card.
I was a little spectical.The card wasn't a fanciful one but I was so desperate I decided to call.I was charged a small fee.
They listened to me and I was assigned a counselor Kobi Zalait.
He said they only take up cases they know that they can win.He advised me not to file for bankruptcy because that was the only option I had left in order for the house not to be foreclosed on.He said we will apply for a loan modification.
He asked a few questions and asked me to send in several documents.
HMSS got in touch with my lenders Bank of America.
Within a matter of two weeks my Loan was modified. I was asked to pay a months mortgage payment and My house is now out of foreclosure.
I was surprised because the bank had refused a payment of $7000 from me for the past 9 months and HMSS were able to get the bank to accept just one months payment and have the loan payments reduced.
I will recommend this company to anyone whose house is going into foreclosure or who ever wants to any kind of mortgage services.
