We live in New York and we purchased a Gentron Pro2-3500P and had it shipped to us. We only used 1 time for less than 15-20 minutes. Then we went to fire it up and it didn't work. We called Generator Depot and spoke with Kelly and she referred us to a place called Dr. Marc's in Syracuse which is 1-1/2 hours away in the getto of Syracuse. My wife took it in and it was the scarest place to go into. The old haggy guy took the generator and stated he doesn't give her any paperwork back he just writes the information in a sprial notebook. We didn't hear anything back for 2 weeks so we called Dr. Marc's and he stated " oh yea I have to give them a call. I was meaning to do that. Another week goes by and we contact Generator Depot of which we spoke to several people. The guy spoke as if he knew what he was doing, but Suzanne Hall needs a whole lot of training. First I had to spell my name to about 5 times within 5 minutes which normally Customer Service would have paper and a pen to write it down the first time. She had no clue and never had a clue everytime we called. Normally notes are put into accounts to let whom ever is working on this identify what is going on. Well we called back Thursday night after receiving an email that it may ship today or by Friday, January 10th, 2011. Well at this point I don't think they have calendars in the office either. The 10th is a Monday. So I call that night because the email stated we could get tracking number if it soes ship today and then she states " oh we are out of stock and we don't know when they will be in. Why lie? If you didn't have them let us know, refund our money and we can get one. We are having alot of storms where electricity goes out and we need this. When your our dishonest with customers like this.....word gets around. I highly recommend people don't buy generators on line and don't do it here. Now they stat our refund will take a week or so to process. Do you believe that.
