this company came to our house for our GE refrigerator purchased from Lowe's with an extended warranty with G.E. We had lost all contents of the freezer through thawing. We scheduled a Saturday appt and waited from Monday to Saturday for that appt. In the meantime, the refrigerator started working again-but not the freezer. The freezer was left empty, but the refrigerator was re=stocked.
This clown from Esquivel, was as warm and friendly as a rattlesnake. He said the trouble was a Mother board. He saqid he replaced it (we never saw the damaged board). He stood at the front of the refrigerator as the digital scroll kept saying zero. He said the Mother Board was trying to find the refrigerator. He said to call him if by nightime the Mother Board had not found the3 refrigerator. Eight hours later, the Mother board had found no connection. I tried to call this clown, and his voice mailbox remained full all weekend. He was totally not reachable.
I desperately called G.E. and the Warranty division could not find that I even haqd an appointment. They said the appt must have been made with G.E. direct and that division was now closed and I would have to wait until Monday. They did however, schedule a new visit with a diffrent company for Tuesday.
Interestingly enough, Esquivel stated they always get in faulty Mother Boards from the manufacturer. He stated if it was a bad new Mother Board, they would have to order another one and it would take 5 days to come in. I have tried all weekend to reach this disgusting company, and they were never accessable. I am now starting the second week with no rerfrigerator-NEVER buy G.E. They use horrible companies for their repairs. When I attempted to schedule a new appointment, G.E. kept offering me Esquivel again. Their warranty is a joke. Disgusting G.E. and disgusting Esquivel. The are billing G.E. $128.00 for the visit and the cost of the part. This is crazy when nothing was repaired, and the guy knew it.
p.s. today is sunday afternoon- the refrigerator Mother Board is still searching for the refrigerator. All my food is now nice and warm THANKS G.E. AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO ESQUIVEL.
