Eco Shield Pest - Colorado:
Had salesperson talk to husband and I joined conversation. He promised that wasps/hornets would be taken care of as well as all the spiders. He explained they use pet-friendly chemicals so we decided to try them. He showed back up with first visit and I was impressed. They knocked down wasp nests, and went thru house. It took 3 of them almost an hour to do the first visit. Today had next visit. Two techs showed up - one was to do outside and other inside. I explained we had a huge increase in spiders inside and outside. I showed first tech on our concrete patio, there is a small round rug for our 4-seater table that we have a ton of spiders under there. Also explained to 2nd tech that we have had more spiders coming up drains and I was concerned. In addition I let them know that my husband put 5 sticky traps downstairs to get spiders as well. Since I'm allergic to bees and such, we hung up two wasp traps as well as a bug zapper outside in our backyard. I let both know that we are having a ton of wasps and I wasn't sure if they had built another nest or not but wanted them to take care of. I was assured they would take care of everything. 20 minutes later, they were gone! Didn't come see me before they left or let me know what they found. Had both doors open and told them they could pop in at anytime and let me know. I watched tech in backyard - he didn't touch the patio table area where we have a ton of spiders....the tech inside just went around windows spraying something - that's it! When I called to explain that I wanted to cancel, I was "offered" by one person to have "someone come back out at no charge". No idea what country she was from had a very hard time understanding her. I reminded her we have the guarantee already have someone come back out if we see something, but because I have a puppy, I have to kennel him for day when they come back and it gets quite expensive. I asked for supervisor - was transferred to Colorado office. I spoke to a woman who was very patient, and understood completely, but she couldn't do anything other than to tell me I could cancel for $200 cancellation fee. Told her I would call back after I spoke to husband. I did call back 10 minutes later to cancel and spoke to same woman. She said she would cancel it, but I still need to pay for service today as well as the $200 cancellation fee. When I said fine and tried to pay, she informed me another department (customer service) would contact me to cancel and get fee. I sent email so I had in writing that they need to call me so that I can cancel it, pay the fee, and once that is confirmed, I would pay for today's so-callled service. Still haven't heard from anyone. The company is shady to say the least and a poor business. My husband owns an electrical company and he has never treated a customer like this! STAY AWAY FOM THIS COMPANY!!!! As of now, we have more spiders than before, wasps/hornets, and from reading other reviews, I am worried about the health of our puppy. Very shady company..
