This company handles BEST BUY TRADE IN PROGRAM (www.bestbuytradein.com). They scam people out of their electronics. Bait and switch. I sent them a perfectly working Toshiba HD DVD player and 32 movies that they quoted at $58.00 with a turnaroung time of 2 weeks. A month after I sent it in, they notified me that it was now broken and they wouldn't be able to buy it. They also told me that I would have to pay to have it returned.
At the same time, I sent in a Digital camera that they quoted buying it for $99.00. After inspecting the camera, I met all of their criteria, but, they dropped the buying price to $31.00 and cited that my original quote of $99.00 was a glitch in the system. My problem? I think not. It's called false advertisement or bait and switch.
So, my original $157.00 went down to $31 and them stealing my movies and HD DVD player. Still I haven't received 1 cent from them.
I have called them multiple times to work this out and they refuse to do the right thing. Beware of this company and of BEST BUY as they own DealTree and allow them to use their brand to attract future victoms.
Best buy has also refused to pick up the ball and save this transaction. I would gladly join a class action lawsuit against them.
