They can't provide any kind of good service and they just want your money.
Dentalplans.com customer service is horrible. Their business practices makes the company feel like you're in a Scam! If you've just recently bought a plan, find out what your refund policy is and get your money back as soon as possible before it's too late and you waste your money and time.
About 3 years ago, I purchased a plan for my family because I had a painful toothache that made my head throb. By the time I could get a decent appointment to a dentist in my area, I would have to wait a month to see the dentist. At the office, they didn't seem to know what the discounted rates to Dentalplans.com was and I nearly got charged too much for my visit. Also, I wasn't treated very courteously when I was there.
I tried to get my money back from Dentalplans.com and they said the refund policy expired. It expired by 1 or 3 days. Plus, I had to mail my refund request and have it in writing before the expiration date, which to them made my refund request too late. When my refund policy expired, I didn't even get to see the dentist yet. The representative on the phone and her superior wanted to tell me that I should have drove 30 miles away to the nearest dentist on their list that could schedule me in sooner and wanted to blame their horrible service and money grubbing tactics on me.
They have no manners, no business sense, they only want your money and even after I've told them my experience with their company when they called me to try to renew my plan, they still want my money by sending me a postcard to entice me to renew.
