Chapparral Motorsports uses misleading advertising on their web page. I ordered tires and the web page said "Free 2 day delivery" on orders over certain amount. On the final order form the have a drop down and I selected the special delivery option and it was accepted. So I got a call from their customer service the next day and they said - oh you have to click on the details link and where it says "Free 2-day shipping is limited to ground and 2nd day air shipping depending on the shipping location. Tire orders in california will be charged a $1.75 per tire recycle fee, required by law." But later on says "Orders containing items such as wheels, rims, tires, ATV plastic, or other large oversize packages will be sent via ground. Oversize items are noted in the Chaparral® Catalog." Well, I go back to the web page and it doesn't state oversize anywhere.
This is clearly false advertising and bait and switch shipping.
