I have been in the retail window treatment business for over 30 years. I have been a loyal Castec customer for many of them. When they had to shut down, I knew they wanted to re-open around January 15th. I visited the BBB site to see if there was any news about them. I read a negative review about the long delay in shipping their order. I have a letter from Castec stating their situation and that, if you shipped them fabric, there would be a considerable delay before the order would ship. The letter was clear on that point.
I was shocked to read about their low rating. I have been a customer for at least 15 years. My experience over the past year was the same high level as all other years - on time, accurate, beautiful. I deal with many reliable vendors, but Castec is the best. I have ordered dozens of shades every year. The ONLY problem I ever had was the wrong color cord cleat on one order. I have nothing but positive comments about their quality, on-time shipping, packaging and, most of all, very competent customer support.
I have nothing to gain from writing this review. I do not intend to share it with Castec, and I have not told them I was going to write it. My sole purpose is to give another viewpoint of them. They are, and always have been A+ with me.
