This is a follow up to a previous review. As you will note below we worked with Michael Troy and Avid Law Center on our loan modification application. We received a three month temporary loan modification and we made all payments on time. There were no additional requests of paperwork, no changes to the original temporary and we signed a PERMANENT loan modification and will begin on July 1st. I hear and understand folks concerns regarding operations that take money and deliver no results or make a lot of promises that they do not fulfill we worked with both types for over two years. That was not our experience with Avid they were clear on what they could deliver and followed up as they promised. You can trust Avid Law Center. My partner and I have been trying since October 2008 to work with Chase on the modification of our home loan. As with many other homeowners who have their loans serviced by Chase we spent literally hundreds of hours and worked with an attorney twice getting the file to underwriting and in both circumstances no modification. From the beginning Avid law center and its staff was very clear and explicit in managing expectations, the scope of their service, a cost structure and deliverables. The process of information gathering and assessment of our case was straightforward and their representatives were clear in explaining the Avid process. After the forms were provided to Avid the file was turned over to our case manager Michael Troy who consistently and persistently provided us written and verbal communication with requests for documents when necessary and explained why the information was needed. By January of 2011, because of the work of Avid law center and Michael Troy, Chase approved a temporary loan modification and we anticipate that this will roll into a permanent loan modification in three months. We STRONGLY recommend Avid law center and its staff to anyone who is serious about wanting to have their home loan modified
