Review 7/31/2011
I don't recommend doing buisiness with them at all. My truck broke down west of Gallup. I was moving from Phoenix, to Dayton Oh. My truck was loaded up with everything i owned. I first took it to action auto mechanic. My truck (1996 toyota T-100) was overheating. Action auto, replaced the thermastat, and radiator cap. The truck still overheated. I took it back to Action, and there diagnostics was either a blown head gasket, or cracked head. They offered me the money back on repairs and $200.00 dollars for the truck (id be able to keep my belongings in the truck).

I decided to get a secound opinion, from the dealership, which i told them that it possibly was a cracked head or head gasket. They diagnosed it, and 2 days later called me and said it was the water pump, and timing belt. I asked them if they were sure that it was not a head or gasket problem, because i do not have 3500 dollars for those repairs, and if it is, i'd storage my belongings and sell the truck. He replied, it's not, that they did tests and it was all good.

I told them to go ahead with the repairs, which the estimate was $1150.00. they had to order the parts, ship it in, and it will take aproximately 4 days. Four day's later, i get a call that the truck is ready, there having a van pick me up at the motel. On the way there, they call me and say it's still overheating, and the problem is the fan clucth, another 180-200 dollars. I said Alright, repair it, if that is definately going to solve the problem. They replaced it and it still overheated. which then they wanted to break into the heads, which would cost over 250.00 to open them up.

I told them i didn't have any more money for the repairs. I also told them that i wanted my stuff in the truck (clothes, bed, tables, desk, and alot of important papers (taxes, reciepts, pictures ect...). The truck had aproximately 3 grand in belongings. My whole life was in that truck. They said No, were holding it all for colatoral. I told them I wasn't going to pay them 1350.00 for work that did not fix the problem (which they said it was going to), for a truck that i brought in overheating, and was still overheating..

I believe Amigo Totoya is not your Amigo, and they are scammers, and theives. I do not recommend doing buisiness with them. They take advantage of people, broke down, because they know the nearest cities are flagstaff and albuquerque. Both over 150 miles away.
