We have really happy with the service and products we got from Abbott Awnings. It was the perfect solution for this part of the house. We have plantation shutters in other parts of the house and they're great but they wouldn't quite work in the back where we just had to preserve the view. We called Abbott for another solution and their sales consultant John G. came out and showed us the perfect application for the intense sun we get in the afternoon. He showed us the the retractable glare control sunscreens that allow as to see out but amazingly cut down the heat and glare while preserving the view. On top of that they are remote control motorized so we can raise or lower them as needed. They have really cooled the room down making it comfortable and livable during the afternoon. For the sliding glass door area we chose a retractable awning setup that is also motorized and self adjusts to the the sun angle. It was a lot more affordable than a patio cover which we looked at and really much more functional as there are no posts or obstructions to deal with and went up a lot faster. We were also really happy with John who was super about his craft and really made the difference for us. He measured everything himself which meant we got it faster and it all fit perfectly when it was installed. He followed up with us after the installation and we highly recommend him and Abbott Awnings.
