I contracted with ASAP Relocations to move us on Monday, January 3rd, 2011. We dealt with Patty, who was very pleasant on the phone. She told us that we would be getting a call from the dispatchers the day before to let us know what time the truck would be arriving. I sort of thought the call might come on Friday, since the day before was a Sunday, but I was really surprised when I received the call from the dispatchers on Friday, December 31st (New Years Eve) at 10 am, telling me that they had a truck in the area now, and were prepared to do our move right then, and if we couldn't do it then, they wouldn't be able to do it, because they wouldn't have a truck in the area on Monday, when we were supposed to move. Excuse me??? I'd had this move contracted for this date for weeks. I'd talked to other companies, and told them that I'd hired someone else. I could have gone with someone else, but didn't, and now, at the last minute, on New Year's Eve, they're going to pull this???? Needless to say, I'm furious and am left scrambling to find someone else. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT.
