My experience with ASAP Relocation is just as bad if not worse than the other reviewer. BBB has it right to rate them with an "F". Their quotes are deceiving. I specifically asked for my TVs and only my TVs to be packed for $100. However, without my consent, the movers packed everything, even after I told them I don't need packaging for my cheap IKEA furniture. They pack excessively, and charge you over inflated prices for their material. I only have 1 bedroom worth of stuff that I've already put in boxes. There are only a few big ticket item such as mattress, and a medium size dresser. I don't have any appliances. They somehow used $200 worth of bubble wrap. Funny thing is, after inspecting everything, I don't even see any bubble wrap. They worked slow and made many mistakes. They charged me 7.5 hours to move a one bedroom apartment into storage! But that's not it, when I called to have them justify the charges, I found out they actually charged 8.5 hrs on my credit card!
Having my belongings in their storage is like having my stuff held hostage. They were quick to respond to earn my business, but once they store my stuff away, they don't respond at all. They put you on hold forever, and the receptionist make up excuses so the dispatchers wouldn't have to speak to you. It took me a week of phone tag just to schedule a time for them to have my stuff deliver to a public storage. They didn't even show up to my first appointment. I kept calling that day from 2PM to 6PM only to find out last minute that they could not make it. I took half a day off and waited for hours. They did not bother to update me at all even when I called every hour.
Bottom line, this company is extremely unethical. They will make every attempt to lie, cheat, and steal from you. Stay away. I wished I had checked BBB and other sources before using ASAP Relocation.
There is absolutely nothing positive or constructive to say about this company. They should be investigated and put out of business.
Of the 33 reviews on Yelp, 31 rated ASAP with 1 star, 1 person rated them with 2 stars, and the 33rd reviewer must have gotten it mixed up with a similarly name company.
