I contracted with 805 maids on 6/14/10 to clean my apartment and carpets for a move out in Isla Vista, CA. The one woman who showed up didn't even have a vacuum, used our cleaning supplies and stole our broom and bleach before she left. She left an hour after we were supposed to be out of our apartment but didn't even finish cleaning. She never even went in the bedrooms, didn't dust any of the baseboards and there were still food stains in the kitchen. When I tried to call the company, they (Steve is the only person who I've ever talked with) refused to tell me their license number and who they were bonded and insured through. When I said I felt I was entitled to half of my money back (because only half the work was completed) he refused to give me any additional contact information (address, manager's information, e-mail address) and then said to just sue him. 805 maids doesn't even have a real operating address. A website online says that 805 maids is located at 3024 De la Vina street, but there is nothing at that location that can prove that (I drove there). I called again and Steve claimed that is their old office and they are now located in LA, but the address he gave me is fake. I do not believe this to be a legitimate company, but if it is, they have the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. My suggestion to anyone looking for a cleaning company is to avoid this one at all costs and make sure to get all the company information before you hire them.
