This was the first time I've ever sold gold and silver jewelry so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did a lot of searching to find the best company and I ran across a LOT of companies on the web which were linked from some other sites as the best. One such company was cash4gold which was touted as the top out there. Later found out that from a letter from NBC who sold their gold to 10 or so different companies that SellYourGold.com had the highest payout, whereas cash4gold paid out the less, or at least was at the bottom payouts.
After contacting SellYourGold I found the entire experience to be very professional and customer oriented. I was called by them after I requested my packet to make sure I received it and to find out if I had any questions. The process was seamless, and very fast. From the time I mailed my gold to them, at their expense to the time I received my request was 3 days, but that was only because of the weekend. They received my jewelry 8am in the morning and I had my offer at 11:45 with an overnight deposit promised the next day upon acceptance. They allowed me to accept their offer or they would mail it back to me. That was a nice feeling to know I still had a choice.
I can't say enough positive things about them. They take the fear of being ripped off out of the equation. Thank you all.
