Is Ameriprise a scam !

Does anyone know any thing about Ameriprise Advance Credit Trust in Miami FL? They want a $800.00 deposit from me for a $6500. loan for a security deposit. Just trying to find out if they are legit! I can't find anything on the BBB web site unless I'm not looking in the right spot. Thank You
