any good loan modifications firms out there

has any one worked with Matia Law Firm for loan modification, or does someone know of a firm that can be trusted to help with loan modificatons, please help. I have been taken for 3500 from Haffar Law Firm. Let me know please

In general, we recommend that if you are having trouble making your mortgage payments we would recommend that you first seek a loan modification through a HUD approved non-profit housing counselor ASAP. If you are in CA you may qualify for one of the state's Mortgage Assistance Programs that have been launched this year. Call 888-954-KEEP (5337) to see if you qualify. Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and Michigan also have programs like this.
