Mesa Ca

I received a phone call from a Phil Cooper with the Hardship Center from Costa Mesa Ca regarding
a loan modification on my mortgage, he just called me and said he need $2000 to proceed with the
modification, after doing some research I found that it is illiegal in the state of Ca and from the FTC
to collect up front fees for modifications....THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME !!!!
So if anyone gets a call from this company BEWARE......I also ask him for a name of a person from
my mtg holder which is BAC and he said it would take a couple of days for him to get back with
me.....
