An apparent management nightmare--read all reviews and get your product elsewhere!
I read all the other negative reviews and was reluctant to order from this company. However, 4seating.com was the only company to offer the Seatcraft Monarch theater recliners (and for about a 50% price reduction!). We really wanted a classy/elegant theater seat and were willing to spend over $6K on five seats! I asked if we could select more than one fabric since the web site showed many recliners in this "executive" series in two different fabrics (a main fabric and an accent color). I was told by a Julie (and another woman that I never got the name of when I initially explored my options) that two-toned fabric selections were quite common since these theater seats are all made custom to the customer's specifications. Another worker (I don't know her name) told me that fringe could be selected (even though it was not pictured--although we did not want this on our chairs), and she suggested other ways customers have personalized the theater seats by selecting one of two different nailhead choices. Julie informed me to merely submit a diagram/picture of my fabric selections, she e-mailed me a quote within the hour, and I submitted my diagram within an hour of her e-mail. I expected to get a response within a day or two. Thankfully, she had not collected any payment yet as we were still undecided about whether to add the power recline feature until I submitted the diagram. I was just about to give Julie a credit card number to purchase these chairs but thought I'd think about it until I got an e-mail reply to my diagram. My gut was telling me to wait to see how the company/staff respond. It has been days and I have not heard a peep from anyone. This company (and its employees) clearly do not feel motivated to work hard for our business (or work much at all--they drop the ball and expect us to pursue them!). Every other company I called has been far more responsive and better with follow-through. I can see from 4seating.com's response that I would have to pester them to get the product(s) I ordered. I can envision months of aggravation and stress in not receiving anything as promised. Not worth it! We decided to cut our expense in half and bought our theater seat recliners from the much more reputable theaterseatstore.com (who also threw in a free upgrade to white glove delivery). I strongly suggest you see how the employees respond to you and then assess if it's worth investing your money in something that may take half a year or longer to get! Even if this company/its staff were busy, a quick e-mail saying what they were looking into or researching would have appeased me. No response is totally unacceptable (but in fitting with all the other lack of responses/problematic responses as experienced by other customers). I am so thankful that I did not give them a credit card number yet. If I had, I'd be disputing it at the one month point (the earliest possible with my credit card company) and taking my money elsewhere. By the time I'd be disputing the charges and dealing with that hassle, I'll have received our customer order theater seats from the other company. Save yourself the aggravation...you'll be happier in the short and long run and preserve your sanity!
