I am very disapointed with Kevin Jewelers in The Westfield Topanga Mall.
Yesterday I gave the salewoman $330.00 dollars to hold a ring that I liked.

At first I asked if she can hold it while I thought about it over the weekend but she said she could not only if I put down money. I left the store without anything but a receipt, that I thought proved I put down cash to hold an item. No merchandise whatsoever.

I came back the next morning to after I made my decision and I told her it was a little too expensive and unfortunately I cannot afford it. She told me she will not give the money back! She said no refunds. I honestly was shocked.

I dont understand the logic. I didnt purchase anything. I did not leave the store with the ring. I simply trusted the store to hold the ring for me if I gave them $330.00 cash! The saleswoman(Anahita) said the manager (Ray Attefat)was not in and there was nothing she can do.

I asked her to have the manager call me, which he did. He was so RUDE over the phone, he kept trying to convince me to purchase something else if that ring was too much.I told him I was considering that, but after the shock of not returning my hold deposit, there was no question that I will never buy anything from that store.

He asked me if I understood English which was funny because he had the thick Persian accent! AND he said he didnt care what I did or who I complained to and went on to drink coffee.

I was so mad, WOW.Its been a long day. I am really upset and I did not expect this from such a large franchise company.

Everyone I have spoken to has agreed with me that this is totally unfair and is a rip off and they are just trying to get money out of me. I would understand no refund had I actually bought the ring, taken it home and then come back, but It wasnt like that. I simply put money to hold the ring. The ring never left the store. I cant believe I was treated so unfairly and I would like a full refund of the deposit.

Unfortunately this happened on Saturday morning and everyone is saying I need to speak to someone on Monday. I hope to hear from the president/owner Kaveh Bral. I know its a long shot but someone needs to take care of this. I see why whenever I walk by Kevin Jewelers in the Topanga and Northridge Mall no one is ever in there. Maybe new managment and sales team is needed.
